Contruction Manager

Overview

Position Summary: The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction related to the build out of an administrative building at a combined cycle power plant in South Georgia.

• Lead Construction Management for Assigned Projects
• Interface between client Project Manager and Plant Personnel with all project field activities
• Safety Leader/champion for assigned projects
• Initiate/own incident management process for capital projects in conjunction with Effingham Operations Leadership
• Interface between contractors and owners engineer

• Ideally 10 years of experience managing construction of industrial facilities (not looking for candidates from a residential construction background)
• Understanding of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Teams)

• Familiarity with combined cycle or power generation facilities
• Familiarity with related industrial equipment (boilers, chillers, etc.)
• Related electrical equipment knowledge (conduit routing, wiring, controls)
• OSHA 10/OSHA 30 certification

$50/hr to $65.75/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
