Job Summary

The General Manager oversees the operations and financial performance of multiple dining service departments across several facilities. This role ensures exceptional service, operational efficiency, and achievement of all financial targets. The position requires availability to work nights and weekends and may involve a 60-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead all aspects of food service operations with a proven record of success.

* Ensure all service and management timelines are met.

* Manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and overall financial performance.

* Build strong, professional relationships with clients, customers, and associates.

* Resolve issues quickly using sound judgment and proactive leadership.

* Conduct management meetings and guide teams toward operational excellence.

* Audit units for compliance with company, regulatory, and safety standards.

* Hire, train, and develop management-level associates.

* Oversee high-volume operations, including a café with more than 3,000 daily transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management or related field; or Associate's degree with 5-7 years of related experience.

* At least five years of operational food service management experience, including high-volume environments.

* Strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, costing, production, and marketing.

* Experience with P&L management and contract food service operations.

* Multi-unit leadership experience preferred.

* Experience in cash retail operations and retail marketing.

* Strong leadership, supervisory, coaching, and communication skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems.

* CDM certification preferred.
