Job Summary Webstaurant Store  is looking for dedicated and hardworking candidates that have leadership qualities to join our growing company. The leaders and managers within the Distribution Center play a key part of growing our business and serving the purchasing needs of food service professionals worldwide.

Our rotational program is designed for candidates who are interested in pursuing a leadership career in the field of operations and supply chain management.  Our 14-week program will teach you about each area of our supply chain as well as obtain a functional and practical knowledge of The Webstaurant Store’s goals and initiatives. During the program you will have the opportunity to experience each segment in our day-to-day operations from inbound to outbound.

Some of these areas may include but are not limited to Receiving, Picking, Packing, Consolidating, Shipping, Inventory Control, and Returns. In each area of training you will be challenged to develop new ideas and tools to not only support the growth of our business but also ensure that the best service is being delivered to our customers. The goal of this position is to prepare you for an off-shift leadership role in our Savannah, Georgia warehouse location.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity for a possible leadership position with The Webstaurant Store’s leadership team.  In this leadership role you will be held accountable for the day-to-day decisions regarding the input, movement, process, and output of operations to ensure increased quality, inventory accuracy and service. This position is responsible for providing clear and frequent communication to all teams on the distribution center's productivity, company policies and procedures.

An essential function of the leadership is to motivate employees to keep pace with our explosive growth while maintaining challenging deadlines.

* Support the management of day-to-day decisions of the assigned department/shift regarding performance, process and leadership.
* Learn and understand the process of each department/shift, make connections as to how each department interacts with each other, and identify areas of improvement.
* Actively engage in leadership discussions and demonstrate the ability to apply Webstaurant Store leadership principles to daily work.
* Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly metrics for assigned departments; identify and resolve operating issues as needed, including support of corrective actions and progressive discipline process.
* Interact with employees regularly to promote a high level of engagement and ensure all safety regulations / rules are followed.
* Other duties as assigned.###

Physical Requirements
* Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
* Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
* Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
* Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
