Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required. At least 4 years of related manufacturing, assembly, or aircraft maintenance experience. Q-stamp preferred.

Position

Purpose:

The Operations Coordinator acts as an extension of leadership, working under the supervision of the Operations Manager, Department Coordinator, or Aircraft Coordinator. This role involves providing technical leadership, training, and developing and executing Daily Work Plans.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Train team members on specific installations to ensure quality and proficiency, including developing Job Instruction Breakdown (JIB) sheets for TWI training.
  • Coordinate the development and updates of the Daily Work Plan (DWP).
  • Lead team members in daily operations as per the DWP.
  • Serve as the FOD and 6S team leader for the assigned area and scope.
  • Assist the Manager in developing work-around plans when issues arise, such as late parts or other delays.
  • Support the Manager in evaluating team members' EPRs.
  • Ensure all work-related paperwork is signed off on the same day of completion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date metrics for the DWP daily.
  • Maintain an accurate skills matrix reflecting team proficiency levels.
  • Be fully proficient in installing and building the assigned statement of work.
  • Follow engineering and manufacturing documents with discipline and integrity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Additional Requirements:

    • Demonstrate leadership and possess good communication skills.
    • Proficient in interpreting Gulfstream standards such as GAMPs, GERs, and MEPs.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills; capable of functioning as a team leader or team member.
    • Ability to work any shift.
    • Ability to lift and transport objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
