Candler Hospital, chartered in 1804, is Georgia’s first hospital and the second oldest continuously operating hospital in the United States. This 384-bed facility is affiliated with the Methodist Church and offers comprehensive primary care, outpatient services, and other specialty services.

St. Joseph's Hospital has served the community since 1934, offering care across more than 70 specialties—such as surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and cardiology. A new six-story tower with 90 private patient rooms includes a covered drop-off entrance and ground-floor registration. Our practice has served the Southeast Georgia market for more than 60 years and provides anesthesia services eph’s/Candler Hospitals, Effingham Hospital in Springfield, GA, and several ambulatory surgery centers.

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

• Shifts:
  
  Monday through Friday 07:00–15:00, with call and non-call opportunities; other shifts also available
