Memorial Health University Medical Center, a 600+ bed hospital serving 35 counties across southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina, is a regional referral center for heart care, cancer care, trauma care, children's care, high-risk pregnancies and high-risk newborn care. Our Savannah campus includes the region's only Level I trauma center and children’s hospital and the Mercer University School of Medicine campus.
ResponsibilitiesThe NICU RN works in collaboration with the health care team to protect, promote and optimize health and ability, prevent illness and injury, alleviate suffering through diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocate in the care of individuals and families. Practice aligns with hospital policies and procedures, the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, professional standards, code of ethics for nursing, and the institution’s nursing philosophy.
Qualifications- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Associate Degree, RN Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date
- Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 4 months of start date
- STABLE must be obtained within 60 months of start date
- Prior pediatric, NICU or Women’s Services nursing experience is preferred
