Birth Center Nurse Manager

A respected nonprofit, Magnet-designated health system in the Coastal Southeast is seeking an experienced Birth Center Nurse Manager to lead a high-volume program delivering 3,000+ babies annually
. This is a visible, hands-on leadership role for an L&D leader who thrives in a complex clinical environment and values strong physician partnership and professional nursing practice.

The Nurse Manager will oversee a high-acuity Labor & Delivery program with a dedicated OBED, two OB ORs, and post-operative recovery
, supported by a well-established infrastructure.
Board-certified obstetric specialists, neonatologists, and dedicated anesthesiologists are available on-site 24/7, providing consistent clinical support and allowing the nursing leader to focus on operations, quality, and team engagement. The role is further supported by experienced Charge RNs and Educators, stable executive leadership, and a Magnet culture that prioritizes safety, collaboration, and outcomes.

Compensation includes a base salary up to $164,000 (dependent on experience), a comprehensive benefits package, and relocation assistance for the right leader.

Qualified candidates will be BSN-prepared (Master’s preferred) and bring a minimum of three years of Labor & Delivery clinical experience
, ideally within Magnet and/or Baby-Friendly designated programs. At least two years of progressive nursing leadership experience is required, including direct responsibility for managing and developing a clinical team at the Supervisor or Manager level.
