The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the care plan is followed and supervises Certified Nursing Assistants and orientees. This role emphasizes patient and employee safety as a priority, promoting a positive working environment focused on teamwork and effective decision‑making.

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, forming the basis of individualized care plans.
• Identify teaching needs and goals in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with established policies.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and ensure quality patient outcomes through direct patient care.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.
• Communicate pertinent information regarding changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, fostering a supportive environment.
• Maintain personal and environmental safety in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Engage in professional development through continuing education and self‑study.

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS required prior to first shift (specific to certain locations).
• Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience highly desired.
