2 years of RECENT MEDSURG experience REQUIRED w/at least 1 previous travel assignment STRONGLY PREFERRED
100 mile radius rule

Manager is looking for Med Surg rockstars (she does not move forward with candidates heavy in tele and stepdown)

UNIT sees a wide variety of Med Surg patients, the broader the candidates Med Surg experience, the better
PATIENT TYPE:
Med-Surg, Sickle Cell, heart failure, vascular, pulmonary, diabetes, failure to thrive etc.

- Nurse Patient Ratios: 5-6 to 1
- Required Certifications : BLS
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?:
Yes
- Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios:
Yes, 12 - 1
- RT Equipment :
Nasal, face masks, bipap

- Shifts & Scheduling
MANAGER DOES NOT GUARANTEE BLOCKED SCHEDULING.

The weekend requirement for 5th floor eph s is 6 weekend shifts per 12 weeks and weekend is Saturday and Sunday. The weekend shifts may or may not be together.
