Kitchen Utility Lead

Job Summary

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Kitchen Utility Lead position at SCAD Hive, 231 West Boundary Street, Savannah, GA 31401. This role is essential to support shift supervisors and department directors, ensuring high quality standards and smooth daily operations.

Location: SCAD Hive, Savannah, GA 31401
Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
Pay Range: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
Internal Referral Bonus: Available

• Support shift supervisors and department directors in day‑to‑day activities.
• Provide and coordinate team member assignments.
• Execute proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Assume shift supervisor duties during absences.
• Adjust or cover schedules when staffing is short.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and maintain standards.
• Monitor and report equipment issues or shortages.
• Participate in customer and patient surveys.
• Maintain respectful and professional interactions with customers, teammates, and colleagues.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Prior food service experience is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a fixed schedule, including early mornings and weekends.
• Capability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
