Responsibilities for Restaurant Server
Greet customers and seat them in the order in which they arrive.
Familiarize customers with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested.
Take customer orders and relay them accurately to relevant team members.
Serve food and beverages.
Clear, properly clean and set tables between uses.
Collect payment from customers in a timely manner.
Assist in training new employees as required.
Anticipate guests' needs to facilitate and enjoyable dining experience.
Qualifications for Restaurant Server
2+ years of experience fine dining in a similar restaurant or major city.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed customer expectations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good attitude toward teamwork.
Strong work ethic, with a willingness to take initiative.
Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to be mobile for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop, and life a moderate weight.
