If you’re a hands-on VP of Sales in the legal industry or law firm sales, this Sales Leadership role with a high-growth legal services firm could be a good fit.
This is an exclusive, retained search for a Savannah-based company delivering acquisition marketing services to the legal industry, driving large ($200-500k) and enterprise ($1M-5M) deals with law firms across the country. They’re privately held, rapidly scaling, and already pulling in nine figures in annual deal flow. The current Sales Leader is stepping out, creating an opportunity for a new leader to take the reins of a senior, well-tenured sales team.
You’ll partner closely with the CEO and Director of Revenue Operations to professionalize the sales function — turning ad-hoc heroics into repeatable wins. The sales org is healthy but hungry for structure, accountability, and next-level performance.

What You Will Be Doing:- Lead and manage a sales team (a few very senior reps along with some junior)
- Collaborate with Rev Ops to implement dashboards, KPIs, and activity metrics
- Report to and partner with the CEO and scale the company for next-level growth
- Define and roll out sales playbooks by deal size and buyer profile
- Know how to lead senior reps, instill accountability, and mentor
- Ensure sales motion consistency across subscription, mid-market, and enterprise tiers
- Help architect large, multi-step deals with clients in the $1M–$4M+ range
- Conduct daily sales huddles and weekly pipeline reviews
- Drive process discipline, follow-up cadence, and pipeline movement
- Background selling to law firms or the legal industry, ideally in a high-touch, non-commodity sale (e.g., marketing/advertising/client acquisition services, consulting or advisory services, client or business development services, litigation finance, financing or funding, or wealth management, private equity sales, etc.)
- Minimum 10+ years of total sales experience, with 5+ years in sales leadership
- Have established or implemented best practices, sales methodology, and sales process and structure previously
- Experience structuring and closing high-value deals
- Proven ability to lead senior sales professionals and gain peer-level credibility
- Data-driven mindset and familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Gong, Sales Loft, Zoom Info
- Experience in fast-scaling or entrepreneurial environments
- Ability to travel regularly (50%)
- Plus: has been a lawyer, attorney, or worked in a law firm
