Responsibilities- Build, develop, and retain customer relationships to support a high‑performing sales team and ensure account succession.
- Acknowledge & process customer Request for Quotes (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Establish and manage customer requirements, including quote follow‑ups and proactive expediting of purchase orders.
- Direct sales forecasting activities, analyze account sales data, and promote sales efforts.
- Communicate with Outside Account Managers and Project Managers to establish profit, inventory suggestions, and pricing requirements for key accounts.
- Review work processes to ensure internal and external quality standards are followed; suggest improvements.
- Explore practical, creative alternatives that increase AWC
’s chances of successfully closing orders at higher margins. - Provide inside technical knowledge and conversion assistance in support of Technical Account Manager.
- Team player with ability to work cross‑functionally for common goals.
- Sense of urgency, high energy and high accountability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication (phone, e‑mail, etc.).
- Willingness to be on call for after‑hours & weekend support periodically.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of electricity, panel design/wiring, manufacturing/OEM experience.
- 4‑year bachelor’s degree / 2‑year technical degree (preferred in Engineering).
- 2‑5 years of industry experience.
- Base level knowledge of Electrical and Automation products (PLC’s, IO’s, safety devices, enclosures, motor starters, VFDs, pneumatics, sensors, panel boards, etc.).
