• Provide customer service to clients by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, including areas typical in chemical or petrochemical locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activities.
• Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security‑related concerns or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to employees and visitors.

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
