• Providing protection for protectees.
• Conducting criminal investigations related to U.S. financial obligations.
• Planning and executing security for National Special Security Events.

• U.S. citizenship
• Valid driver's license
• Firearm proficiency and possession
• Age between 21 and 37 at the time of conditional offer (with exceptions for prior federal law enforcement service or veteran's preference)
• Top Secret Clearance
• Uncorrected visual acuity of 20/100 binocular, corrected to 20/20 or better
• Hearing within specified limits
• Drug testing and ongoing random testing
• Completion of 13 weeks at FLETC and 18 weeks at James J. Rowley Training Center
• Willingness to accept assignments nationwide and abroad
• Registration with the Selective Service System or exemption
