What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including both business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
* Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
* Support Allied Universal and client staff by assisting with access control and visitor management as required.
* Document all incidents and observations according to Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
* Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
* Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
