As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security‑related incidents and unauthorized access. • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Perform access control duties at the chemical or petrochemical location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors entering the premises.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Follow site‑specific policies and procedures, while providing customer service to all individuals at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including reporting and documenting events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and surrounding perimeter, observing for any security‑related concerns or hazards.
• Support emergency response activities by following established protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Communicate security‑related information promptly to appropriate personnel and/or authorities as outlined in post orders.

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A current guard card or security‑related license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
