• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any suspicious behavior or situations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas of the location to help deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and management to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Follow all site-specific guidelines and instructions while representing Allied Universal in a professional manner at all times.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
