Wednesday 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Thursday 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol - Part Time in Savannah, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as chemical/petrochemical and more. Your role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a chemical or petrochemical location, deterring security‑related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, respond to situations as needed, and may use the Claim a Shift platform to build a flexible schedule.

- Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the chemical and petrochemical location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business property and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols within the location.
- Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols and security-related incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
- Assist with access control procedures to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the chemical and petrochemical facility.
- Support emergency response efforts as directed, including coordinating with onsite personnel and first responders when appropriate.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
