Job Description As a Security Officer - Aerospace Facility Rounds in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at this aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a welcoming atmosphere, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
* Monitor for unusual conditions and report security-related concerns or incidents according to established procedures.
* Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or contractors regarding site policies and procedures.
* Support access control measures by verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points as required.
* Document activities, observations, and/or incidents in daily logs or reports as directed by Allied Universal or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
* Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* CPR certification is preferred.
* Alarm panel experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
