As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor alarm panels, and support badge access processes. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter security-related incidents, and deliver professional customer service and communication to associates, visitors, and delivery personnel.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers at a retail distribution center by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Monitor and control access at designated entry points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain required access-related records.

+ Screen inbound and outbound personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least two years of security-related experience.

+ Comfortably use a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience preferred.

+ Customer service experience preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
