Marine Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Marine Carpenter in Savannah, GA to join our team on a full-time, temporary or temp-to-hire basis. This role focuses on high-quality finish carpentry for yachts and boats, including custom cabinetry, trim, joinery, and marine woodworking. The position works Monday through Friday, day shift , and requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to handle marine-grade materials that withstand water, salt, and weather exposure.

• Fabricate and install custom interior and exterior components such as cabinetry, trim, paneling, and furniture using marine-adapted woodworking techniques.
• Perform precise joinery, including curved / radius work, veneers, and assembly using marine adhesives and fasteners.
• Apply finishes, varnishes, and protective coatings to ensure durability in marine environments.
• Repair and restore existing marine structures while maintaining structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently and collaborate with team members on vessel outfitting, refits, and new builds.

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in finish carpentry, cabinetry, furniture building, or similar.
• Experience in the marine industry preferred (yacht / boat building, shipwright, or marine refit); transferable finish carpentry skills essential.
• Proficiency with woodworking tools, hardwoods, marine plywood, teak, laminates, and marine construction techniques.
• Physical stamina : able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
