SummaryThe Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and providing direction to associates to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of products. This role serves as the first point of contact for warehouse staff, helping to coordinate workflows, resolve issues, and support the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager in achieving operational goals.
What You'll Do- Lead and support a team of warehouse associates to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety standards
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of inbound, outbound, and inventory activities
- Train and mentor team members on standard operating procedures, equipment use, and safety practices
- Perform hands‑on warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, loading/unloading, and inventory control
- Assist with scheduling and shift planning as needed
- Monitor equipment use and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Communicate daily goals, priorities, and updates to team members
- Support cycle counts, audits, and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- All other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- 2–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience required
- Previous leadership or lead experience strongly preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to be trained and certified
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to motivate and guide a team in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks
