Job Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

• Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment, following radiation safety guidelines and quality control standards.

• Review and evaluate images for diagnostic quality before submitting for interpretation.

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses.

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation in the hospital’s charting system.

• Adhere to infection control and hospital policies at all times.

• Provide imaging services across departments within scope as needed in a small hospital setting.
Required

Skills & Experience:

• Active Tennessee Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT (CT and Radiography) certification.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist; ability to perform both CT and X-ray required.

• Proficiency with CT and radiography equipment operation and troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, anatomy, and imaging procedures.

• Ability to work independently during night shifts in a small hospital environment.

• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Certifications:

• ARRT (R)(CT) – required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
