Hardin County Veterinary Clinic is a small animal clinic nestled along the Tennessee River near Pickwick Lake. We offer a variety of services for canine and feline family members.

Our clinic maintains an 8‑5 weekday schedule with no weekends, providing a consistent and predictable work‑life balance. We are a 3‑doctor practice eager to expand with a veterinarian who is dedicated to high‑quality, compassionate care.

• Examine and treat companion animals, detecting and determining the nature of disease or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on preventive care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
• Provide counsel regarding pet end‑of‑life care.
• Maintain patients’ medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
• Appropriate state licensure.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
• Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; assisted lift for over 25 pounds.
