Location:

Peace Rose Montessori School – Sayreville, NJ

Schedule:

  • Full-Time:
    Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Part-Time:
    Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
About the Role

Peace Rose Montessori School is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Infant/Toddler Montessori Teacher to join our nurturing community. This position is ideal for a Montessori-trained educator—or an experienced early childhood professional eager to grow within a Montessori environment—who has a true passion for guiding young children through their earliest stages of development.

Required Qualifications
  • AMS/AMI or MACTE-accredited Montessori Certification for ages 0–3
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a Montessori Infant/Toddler environment with infants and toddlers (ages 0–3)
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage an Infant/Toddler Montessori classroom
  • Prepare and maintain an inviting, organized, and developmentally appropriate environment
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Montessori principles
  • Observe and document each child’s progress using Transparent Classroom
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Support and guide assistant teachers in Montessori practices
  • Ensure the classroom is safe, clean, and engaging for exploration and growth

Compensation

Pay is based on education and experience. Please submit your resume and salary requirements for consideration. Salary is negotiable based on education and experience. The contract is from September 1 to June 30. Salary Negotiable.
