• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

• Any previous comparable experience.
• Experience with customer service, including registries, phone, and cashier.
• Experience with inventory control in a retail environment.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Comply with and reinforce safety and sanitation regulations/guidelines/procedures according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated.
• Maintain departmental standards, keeping workstations and customer waiting areas clean and organized.
• Understand and follow computerized inventory management, control, and ordering of non‑legend drugs.
• Complete all aspects of allowable inventory control, including shelf maintenance.
• Answer phone and triage calls and answer inquiries as appropriate.
• Promote sales and services to customers and store associates.
• Adhere to vendor coupon policies, cash shortage limits, and shrink guidelines.
• Operate the cash register and follow cashier handling policies to prevent loss, including tendering electronic fund transactions such as Credit/Debit Cards, EBT, and Gift Cards, as well as cash and check transactions.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently performing all steps of release to patient and product dispensing, if allowable by state law.
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and the company's policies regarding the same.
• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
