Facilities Designer at UofT

This role supports capital and renewal projects within the Facilities Management department. As a designer and project coordinator, you will work closely with stakeholders, ensuring project tasks are handled efficiently. Your expertise will help create a safe and welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff through precise technical documentation and engaging designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with stakeholders and contractors effectively

• Produce technical documentation and CAD drawings

• Develop specifications for CAD drawings

• Ensure designs meet operational needs

• Create artistic renderings and viable design solutions

Requirements:

• Advanced diploma in technology or engineering

• Minimum four years in institutional design

• Strong skills in AutoCAD and Google Sketchup

• Excellent communication skills

• Proven ability to work collaboratively
