Senior Mandarin Pastor Church

Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church seeks a Senior Pastor for its Mandarin ministry. This role encompasses leading worship, encouraging fellowship, and mentoring the congregation of over 150 members.

As part of a diverse church community, the Mandarin Ministry Charge Pastor will lead the strategic direction of ministry and work collaboratively with fellow leaders s pastor will be responsible for developing programs, promoting elder care, and designing community outreach initiatives. A strong vision for spiritual growth and pastoral care is essential for success in this vital role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the Mandarin-speaking congregation

• Mentor staff and foster a collaborative environment

• Oversee the planning of worship and special services

• Conduct biblical teachings and leadership training

• Develop strategies for effective community outreach

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree of Divinity or equivalent

• 5-7 years of pastoral experience in Mandarin-speaking roles

• Bilingual in Mandarin and English

• Excellent organizational and relational skills

• Commitment to church’s core beliefs and values
