ECE Teacher

Position: ECE Teacher Opportunity
Join Family Day Care Services as a part-time ECE Teacher at Sacred Heart. Support early learning for children (0-12 years) through engaging educational practices in Scarborough, Ontario.

This permanent part-time position allows you to create tailored programs utilizing High/Scope® methods and the Hanen Learning Language program. As an R.E.C.E., you will be responsible for ensuring children's individual and cultural needs are met while collaborating closely with families and staff for optimal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement educational programs based on children's needs

• Participate in long-term planning and program evaluation

• Conduct assessments of children’s development and behavior

• Facilitate a supportive environment for families

• Encourage independence in daily activities for children

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education

• Active member of the College of Early Childhood Educators

• At least 2 years of experience in child care

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification

• Current Police Vulnerable Sector Check
