Be part of Family Day's mission in Scarborough as a Contract Early Childhood Educator. This diverse role offers you the chance to shape programs for early development and learning.
As a key member of Family Day at The Divine Infant CC, you will implement the High/Scope® educational framework and engage in meaningful interactions with children aged 0-12 years.
Your role includes assessing individual and group needs, while fostering an inclusive and empathetic learning environment. Collaborate with families to ensure every child's success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply High/Scope® curricular practices routinely
• Design programs based on children's interests
• Observe and assess developmental milestones
• Communicate respectfully with families and colleagues
• Support children in emotional and developmental challenges
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education degree or diploma required
• Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators
• 2 years of relevant child care experience preferred
• Current Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• Valid First Aid and CPR level C
