Applications Engineer – Join a Global OEM Industry Leader

We are a progressive OEM supplier seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join our growing Toronto team. This role supports customer-driven NPI projects and provides technical oversight from concept through production launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical communication and coordination for NPI projects

• Develop and recommend solutions aligned with customer and regulatory requirements

• Perform light FEA (stress) and CFD (thermal/back pressure) analysis using ANSYS

• Design and model exhaust systems using Creo Parametric

• Ensure released prints and PFDs meet manufacturability and customer specifications

• Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and global design teams

• Support testing, validation, production launch, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Travel required

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering Degree

• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in OEM/manufacturing

• Strong CAD/CAE experience (Creo preferred)

• Experience with ANSYS (FEA & CFD)

• Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5), welding, and metal forming processes

• Strong understanding of DFM and manufacturability
