CAD Designer

Position: CAD Designer Role at Dexian
Join Dexian as a CAD Designer in Scarborough, ON, focusing on CAD documentation modernization. This is an onsite contract role for 6 months.

As a CAD Designer, your role involves supporting the engineering team by re-creating legacy drawings and converting documents into standardized formats. You will work under the guidance of senior designers, ensuring drawing accuracy and adhering to established standards. This position provides hands-on experience within manufacturing and engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Re-create legacy CAD drawings with current templates

• Convert documents to standardized, production-ready formats

• Update and revise fabrication and assembly drawings

• Ensure bills of materials (BOMs) are accurate and updated

• Support documentation clean-up projects

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant engineering program

• Proficient in CAD software like AutoCAD or Inventor

• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills

• Capable of interpreting mechanical drawings

• Experience in drafting or manufacturing is preferred
