CAD Drafting Specialist

Elevate your CAD skills as a CAD Drafting Specialist with Dexian in Scarborough, ON. This onsite contract role focuses on updating legacy technical documentation and CAD drawings.

In this 6-month contract, you will assist the Engineering Drafting team by modernizing existing CAD files and ensuring accurate documentation. Strong knowledge of CAD software including AutoCAD, Inventor, or Solid Works will be essential. You will also contribute to the creation and revision of fabrication drawings and maintain documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and re-create CAD drawings using modern templates

• Convert documentation to production-ready formats

• Revise and create assembly drawings

• Update bills of materials and related documents

• Maintain drawing accuracy and consistency

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or similar program

• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.)

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to follow drafting standards and procedures

• Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings
