Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and explain the specimen collection process

• Perform phlebotomies and conduct ECG tracings

• Handle special test collections and complete related documentation

• Maintain client relationships and respond to inquiries

• Enter patient demographic and requisition information

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program

• Experience in phlebotomy and ECG is an asset

• Good computer skills with 40 wpm typing speed

• Strong customer service skills under pressure

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
