Radiology and CT Technologist Health

Become part of the Scarborough Health Network team as a Medical Radiation Technologist specializing in Radiology and CT. This part-time role supports patient care in a vibrant multi-site environment.

The Medical Radiation Technologist will directly report to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging and will be focused on patient assessments, implementing diagnostic tests, and evaluating patient care activities within a multidisciplinary setting. Additional responsibilities include performing General Radiography duties, maintaining imaging equipment, and compiling patient data. A future orientation toward training in Computerized Technology is also expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and plan appropriate care

• Execute diagnostic imaging tests with precision

• Prepare patient reports with meticulous detail

• Ensure consistent equipment maintenance standards

• Collaborate with various healthcare professionals for improved outcomes

Requirements:

• Registration with the Ontario College of Medical Radiation Technologists necessary

• Scanning experience in CT head and renal colic preferred

• Valid CPR certification a must

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required

• A commitment to excellent patient service and teamwork
