In this role you will:
Be an empowering leader and enable your teams to be highly functioning, self-organizing, and continuously improvingFacilitate key agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesPartner with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and other stakeholders to define sprint goals, refine backlogs, and deliver on roadmapsIdentify and remove blockers or obstacles that impact team productivity and deliveryOversee and manage program releases and implementationsFoster transparency and collaboration across teams and stakeholdersSupport agile adoption and coach team members on Scrum practices and principlesTrack and report team progress through agile metrics and tools, and use data to drive continuous improvementCreate a safe and inclusive team environment, encouraging experimentation, innovation, and open feedbackServes as a steward of team culture, environment, and engineering practicesComfortable to both encourage and challenge others to align behaviours towards our mindsetInfluence, question, and evaluate processes to determine opportunities for effectivenessAbility to come to office at least 4 days a weekAct as a steward of agile values, practices, and team healthComfortable with challenging the status quo and helping others evolve mindsets and behaviorsThrive in a fast-moving, team-based environment where experimentation is encouragedPassionate about empowering others and facilitating alignment toward shared goalsDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
5+ years of IT experience in the related field3+ years of People Management experience and/or leading large cross-functional/cross-regional teams on major organizational projects, preferably in an agile work environmentDesire and drive for innovation through problem solving, leveraging resourcefulness as a key skill; have a learning mindset while intrinsically motivated to learning new tools and techniquesIntermediate to advanced level of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile CoachDeep understanding of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum and KanbanStrong facilitation skills with a proven ability to lead productive team ceremonies and retrospectivesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence without authorityExperience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and designProficiency in agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similarCertified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent agile certification is an assetComfortable with continuously changing environments (examples: business priorities, new technologies)Exhibit a high degree of understanding risk managementLeverage and understand the use of analytics to enable day-to-day conversations and decision makingWhat's in it for you?
