Director, Information Technology & Business SystemsThe Director, Information Technology & Business Systems is responsible for the strategic leadership, delivery, and optimization of the organization’s technology landscape, including core IT infrastructure and enterprise business systems. This role partners closely with executive leadership and business function leaders to ensure technology solutions effectively support business objectives, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities IT Strategy & Operations- Oversee all technology operations including infrastructure, networks, security, core systems, and end-user technology.
- Define, implement, and maintain IT policies, standards, and governance aligned with organizational objectives.
- Ensure IT systems are secure, reliable, compliant, scalable, and operating to expectations.
- Evaluate existing systems and identify opportunities for upgrades, optimization, or new technology solutions.
- Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and expenditure reporting to executive leadership.
- Lead the strategy, implementation, enhancement, and support of enterprise business systems supporting Finance, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Customer Success.
- Partner with business leaders to understand processes, requirements, and future needs, translating them into effective technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain a rolling technology roadmap to optimize and streamline key business systems.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders by proactively identifying improvements and innovation opportunities.
- Lead and manage a team of system administrators, developers, engineers, and analysts.
- Provide coaching, direction, and performance management to ensure high-quality delivery and team engagement.
- Coordinate internal teams, external consultants, and vendors to deliver projects and ongoing support.
- Oversee the delivery of IT and business systems projects including implementations, integrations, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Ensure systems within the portfolio are highly available, current, well-performing, and effectively supported.
- Apply strong project, technology change management, and risk mitigation practices to all initiatives.
- Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and statement-of-work development.
- Manage SaaS and technology vendor relationships to ensure delivery commitments, licensing, and contracted outcomes are met.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders, stakeholders, and decision-makers across the organization.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s Degree an asset).
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership of IT and/or business systems teams.
- Proven experience overseeing enterprise IT operations and large-scale business systems in a growing or high-tech setting.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, systems architecture, SaaS platforms, integrations, and modern service-based computing models.
- Experience leading complex software implementations and technical integrations.
- Demonstrated success managing IT budgets and vendor relationships.
- Experience supporting finance, sales, marketing, HR, and customer success technologies.
- CRM and ERP platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Net Suite)
- HCM platforms (e.g., Ceridian Dayforce)
- BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Integration platforms and middleware
- Sales compensation tools

The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 to 175,000 CAD. The position will also include a 20% performance-based bonus and a competitive benefit and retirement savings program.
