Part-Time Light Duty Cleaner

Become a key member of Tendercare Living Centre as a part-time Light Duty Cleaner in Scarborough, Ontario. Deliver exceptional cleaning services to maintain a safe environment for residents.

As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will work part-time, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned areas of the facility.

Your role involves daily cleaning duties, including dusting, disinfecting, and maintaining common areas. Following established safety practices, you will collaborate with the housekeeping team to create a quality living space for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean assigned rooms and common areas daily

• Empty and sanitize small garbage containers

• Disinfect sinks, faucets, mirrors, and toilets

• Restock toilet paper and soap in dispensers

• Assist with furniture removal for deep cleaning

Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent education

• Experience with older adults is an asset

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and reach high surfaces
