Manufacturing Engineer
Looking for the next step in your Manufacturing Career?
A Cutting Edge manufacturing organization seeks a Manufacturing Engineer where you will play a crucial role in their innovative manufacturing processes. This role is Day Shift, 6:30 am - 3pm in the Scarborough area.
Responsibilities:
Utilize your 8+ yrs of manufacturing experience, combined with at least 4 yrs in a senior leadership role. Be responsible for the success of the cross-functional teams
Resolve daily manufacturing issues to minimize downtime.
A nalyze manufacturing operations to reduce cost, improve productivity, and enhance quality.
Conduct time studies to establish standard production rates and identify process improvement opportunities.
Modify and maintain manufacturing documents, work instructions, spreadsheets, and databases.
Lean, Quality & Data Analysis
Optimize your Six Sigma skills, quality production experience and Lean Manufacturing to meet the organization's production and KPI requirements.
Drive process improvements by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions.
Able to handle muti discipline projects
Use your "hands on" leadership approach to guide, mentor and coach teams to reach the next level and meet their career success goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in industrial equipment, assembly, and fabrication processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for design purposes.
Strong knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies, such as Lean manufacturing.
Understanding of GDT, Skilled in AutoCAD and Solid works, Basic CAD/CAM experience
Strong ERP and MS Office skills for documentation combined with top notch English communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively collaborate and provide reporting.
