As a Nurse Practitioner with Carefirst, this position involves delivering comprehensive assessments and interventions for seniors. You will work closely with clients to support their health and wellbeing through collaborative care plans. Your geriatric experience is essential for developing and implementing effective treatment interventions that foster independence among frail seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough geriatric assessments and physical examinations

• Identify necessary diagnostic tests and procedures

• Collaborate on integrative care plans with clients and teams

• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans

• Engage in health promotion and safety initiatives
Requirements:

• Nursing bachelor's;
Master’s is an asset

• Current RN Extended Class certification required

• 3-5 years clinical experience in relevant settings

• Competence in geriatric tools and assessments

• Strong therapeutic and negotiation skills
