Hemodialysis RPN Health Network

Join Scarborough Health Network as a Registered Practical Nurse in Hemodialysis, where you’ll deliver quality patient care in a collaborative team environment. This role requires a focus on assessment and organized nursing practice across multiple hemodialysis sites.

As an RPN at SHN, you’ll report to the Patient Care Manager, providing nursing care based on established plans. Your work will involve effective communication with patients and their families, utilizing your hemodialysis experience to assist in achieving predictable outcomes. Engage deeply in a supportive team nursing model with both RNs and RPNs.

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to hemodialysis patients
• Collaborate with the team to achieve patient care goals
• Conduct thorough assessments within RPN scope
• Participate actively in patient education and support
• Maintain professionalism and comply with health policies

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• One year of hemodialysis experience required
• Excellent communication and assessment skills
• Completion of medication course for RPNs
• Robust commitment to patient-centered care
