Casual Infusion Nurse

In this role, you will provide patient-focused nursing care, managing the administration of intravenous therapies in an outpatient setting. You will be responsible for conducting thorough pre-treatment assessments and continuously monitoring patients to ensure safe medication delivery. Success in this position will rely on your critical thinking and clinical judgment as you collaborate with healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients for eligibility and contraindications

• Initiate and manage IV access with sterile techniques

• Monitor patients for any adverse reactions

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

• Provide education to patients on therapies and self-care

Requirements:

• RN with registration in Ontario

• 2+ years of relevant nursing experience

• Certification in infusion therapy preferred

• Current CPR certification

• Strong decision-making and assessment skills
