Scarborough Health Network is seeking Clinical Nurse Externs as part of their Clinical Team. Suitable candidates are nursing students in their third or final year of a CNO-approved program. Externs will assist in direct and indirect patient care while collaborating with experienced healthcare professionals, focusing on enhancing the quality of patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient assessments and document care provided

• Measure vital signs and assist in activities of daily living

• Support patient mobility and comfort through safe practices

• Communicate effectively with healthcare staff, patients, and families

• Maintain clean and safe patient environments

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing program (third or final year)

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• Recent clinical placement experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
