Seasonal Quality Control Technician

Enhance your skills as a Seasonal Quality Control Lab Technician in Scarborough, Ontario, focusing on asphalt testing and ensuring safety compliance. This full-time role offers valuable hands-on experience in the road construction sector.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will engage in asphalt sample testing and perform field quality control tests. While 70% of your time will be spent in the lab, you will also conduct fieldwork, necessitating a valid Ontario G-class driver's license for site travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing and sample collection of asphalt

• Perform Field Quality Control Testing and inspections

• Ensure calibration of measuring equipment

• Assist in quality system activities and additional tasks

• Balance time between lab work and field assignments

Requirements:

• Experience in civil or laboratory environments advantageous

• Commitment to health and safety practices

• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• Flexible availability for varying shifts
