Program Aide, Day Program Part Time

Overview

Prospective candidate will serve as Program Coordinator for Yee Hong’s Day Program, supporting seniors in the Greater Toronto Area.

• Under the direction of the Program Manager, plan or participate in the planning of activities for the Day Program.
• Provide high‑quality services to clients during program hours.
• Assist with program coordination, scheduling and client support.

• Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalent.
• Completion of a CPR certification.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in English and Chinese.
• Sound oral and written communication skills.
• Must obtain a satisfactory vulnerable‑sector police reference check and medical clearance certificate.

Some lifting and transfer of clients is required. Day‑time shifts in a supportive, community‑based environment.
