Daycare Provider

Job Description

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Daycare Provider to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood development and committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. We are looking for Full-Time and Part-Time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children in accordance with daycare policies and state licensing requirements

• Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom and play areas

• Support children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs

• Assist with meals, snacks, diapering, potty training, and nap time

• Observe and document children’s progress and daily activities

• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding child behavior and development

• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times

• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a positive learning environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (ECE coursework or CDA preferred)

• Previous childcare or daycare experience preferred

• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Ability to pass background checks as required by state regulations

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient, energetic, and dependable

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the day

• Ability to actively engage with children indoors and outdoors
