We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. As a Sonographer, you will operate assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. You will provide patient‑centered Sonography services within professional standards and with excellent customer service.

• Sonography Imaging (90%)
  • Screens patient before exam for precautions, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure
  • Explains and prepares patients for sonography imaging procedures, positioning them appropriately for imaging
  • Performs routine and advanced Sonography imaging procedures on designated body portions with minimal supervision
  • Adjusts sonography scan parameters correctly and as needed
  • Follows physicians’ orders precisely and maintains accurate patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • Maintains an orderly, clean work area, sanitizing equipment to promote safety habits
  • Maintains the American College of Radiology (ACR) toolkit and accreditation requirements
• Sonography Department Support (5%)
  • Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary
  • Assist with training of new team members, providing resources and technical expertise
• Other Duties as Assigned (5%)
  • Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
