Cardiac Device Care Specialist II

Full Time (40hrs);
Day Shift

Summary:

The Cardiac Device Specialist II role is responsible for processing, evaluating and providing ongoing device care for patients with implanted cardiac devices.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education:

    Associate of Science degree or certificate in an Allied Health related program or equivalent work experience required.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience:

    See "Education." Prior electrophysiology experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of the Cardiac Device Specialist I role.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements

    Required:

    N/A
  • Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:
    Knowledge of healthcare field and medical office protocols/procedures. Knowledge of crash cart emergency procedures and contents and proper response to emergency situations.
