RAYUS Radiology is looking for an MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will operate a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner to produce diagnostic images of the patient’s body. You will provide patient‑centered care, technical support, and leadership to ensure high‑quality service and excellent customer experience.

This part‑time role works every other Friday 12:30 PM–10:30 PM and every other Saturday and Sunday 2:30 PM–10:30 PM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Screen patients for precautions or contraindications before the exam.
• Prepare and position patients for the procedure, explaining the steps.
• Adjust scan parameters accurately as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring offices, and colleagues.
• Communicate with doctors, nurses, and patients as required.
• Follow physicians’ orders precisely and comply with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Keep the work area orderly and promote safety for patients and coworkers.
• Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.

DEPARTMENT SUPPORT (15%)

• Keep equipment in good working order; clean and disinfect after each use.
• Assist with updating the MRI protocol manual and software upgrades.
• Monitor medical supply inventory.
• Help train new associates, providing technical expertise.

OTHER DUTIES (5%)

Perform other duties as assigned.
